Recipe: Broccoli Florets with Bacon

BROCCOLI FLORETS WITH BACON

3 slices bacon, diced
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Florets from 1 1/2 pounds broccoli, separated into small pieces (about 3 cups)
1/3 cup bread crumbs, preferably fresh

Cook bacon in a 9-inch skillet over medium heat until lightly browned.

Add butter; when butter melts, add florets. Cover and cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.

Stir in crumbs until well moistened. Cook 1 minute more until crumbs are lightly browned.

Makes 4 servings
