Here is the easiest butter cookie recipe in the world. And they are so good!
2 cups flour
2 sticks melted butter (NOT margarine)
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
Mix ingredients. Roll into one-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet (These do not spread, so you can place them very close together.) Press a chocolate chip in the middle. Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins. If dough is dry, wet your hands slightly as you are rolling the cookies. For variety, try peanut butter chips, mint chocolate chips, or make a slight indentation in the cookies with your finger, and fill with your kid's favorite sprinkles. ENJOY!
