CABBAGE COOKED IN MILK
2 cups rich milk
5 cups shredded cabbage
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Scald milk in top of double boiler, add cabbage and stir thoroughly. Cover tightly and cook over hot water 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
Makes 6-8 servings
