CHOCOLATE FUDGE TOPPING
I hope you can get all the ingredients perhaps by other names but this is a "to die for" topping.
100g (1/2 cup) butter
45 ml (3 tablespoons) light corn syrup
225g (8 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
30ml (2 tablespoons) cocoa powder
500ml (2 cups) icing sugar, sifted
5ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla
Place first butter, syrup, condensed milk, and cocoa powder in a pot and melt over low heat. Gradually bring to the boil stirring all the time. Boil for 1 minute (depends how high you are above sea level so this could be a bit longer.) Keep stirring.
Remove from heat. Beat in icing sugar and vanilla. Pour and spread over a warm cake and leave to cool (I make a roasting pan size cake and cut into squares.)
By making the sauce a bit thinner it is the best ice cream sauce
Careful, this recipe makes one grow sideways.
