Recipe: Cold Dog Cake (Kalter Hund)

Desserts - Assorted
Barbara, is this anything like what you are looking for? There are other recipes on the net, but the translated version doesn't make much sense. Do you read German?

Cold Dog

35 shortbread cookies
1/4l butter or margarine
100g sugar
1/8l water
1bar (around 200g) of baking chocolate
approx. 1/8 l cream

aluminum foil:
Take a piece of foil, about 30cm long and fold it so you get an approx. 10cm wide "bottom". Then place it on a bigger, not folded piece of foil.

Mix melted chocolate with sugar, butter and water until you got a smooth dough.
Soak the cookies in cream.
Put a layer of soaked cookies on the aluminium-bottom, top with chocolate mixture. Continue until you run out of cookies, cover with chocolate mix.
Wrap aluminium foil around the cake and keep it refrigerated.
