Tami:
Here's two my son, age 17 always asks for:
Doggie Roll-Ups
1 can crescent rolls
1 package hot dogs or franks
Unroll crescent triangles, divide into 1/3's, slice dogs on the diagonal (3 pieces per dog), wrap dogs in dough, bake at 350 for 10-12 min or until golden
Presentation:
Arrange roll-ups in circle leaving enough room for two dipping sauce containers in middle of pan. Use ketsup and mustard for dipping. You can line the pan with napkins the color of the school colors or use colored saran wrap.
Deviled Eggs
1 dz fresh eggs, (yolks are brighter and better tasting on fresh eggs)
1 T. prepared mustard
1 chopped green onion including stem
3 T. mayo or sour cream or ranch or blue cheese dressing
cilantro
paprika
salt/pepper
Boil eggs in water with splash of any type of vinegar (makes eggshells easier to peel) for 10-12 minutes. Cook completely before peeling.
Half eggs
Filling:
Mash yolks completely, use mayo, sour cream etc, add mustard, salt, pepper, green onion, dash of cilantro, mix very well until smooth
Spoon filling into plastic sandwich bag cutting out corner and squeeze mixture into each egg half. Garnish with paprika.
Presentation:
Deviled Egg Plate
Plate with sections, again lined with colored napkins or saran wrap
Have fun, hope this helps
