Easy Pie Crust (no roll) (using butter and confectioner's sugar)
rec.food.cooking/Adam P Ross (1993)

This is a pie crust that's very easy to make and even easier to remember the recipe. I learned this from a friend from Virginia who got it from his grandmother...

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, room temperature-soft
1 cup flour
1 cup powdered (confectioner's) sugar

Put all ingredients into a bowl or even just on a flat work surface. Work it all together with your hands until a dough is formed. This takes 5-10 minutes. Press into an 8-inch pie plate, prick a few times, and bake with or without filling (depending on your pie) until golden. (10-12 minutes I think).
