Recipe(tried): Finnish Pulla (bread machine)

Breads - Bread Machine
Finnish Pulla

I make the dough in the bread maker and then take it out, braid, top with coarse sugar and slivered almonds, let rise and bake.

2/3 cup milk - warmed
1 egg
2 tbsp margarine (melted)
3 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp cardamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp yeast

In bread machine, put in warm milk, egg, and melted margarine. Add dry ingredients, make a well in the centre, add yeast. Use bread dough cycle.

Punch down and braid, top with coarse sugar and almonds. Place on greased baking sheet then let rise.

Bake for 30-40 minutes at 375F. Enjoy.
