Recipe: Freezer Pickles

Preserving - Pickles, Relishes
FREEZER PICKLES
(Bread And Butter Type)

7 c. cucumber, sliced thin
3 medium onions, sliced thin
1 green pepper, sliced thin
2 c. white sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. reg. salt (not
iodized)
1 tsp. celery seed

Place in large glass or plastic bowl (not metal) the
cucumber, onion and pepper slices. Pour over the remaining
ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours. Pack in freezer
containers and cover well with the liquid. Place in freezer.
Be sure to refrigerate after thawing.
