Fudge-Full Peanut Butter Bars

Serving Size : 60
1 (18 1/2 oz.) package yellow cake mix
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs
Filling
1 (12 oz.) package chocolate bits
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 teaspoons vanilla
In large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, peanut butter, butter, and eggs. Stir until dough holds together. Press 2/3 of dough into bottom of ungreased 15x10x1-inch jellyroll pan or 13x9-inch pan. Reserve remaining dough for topping.
Filling:
In heavy saucepan, combine chocolate bits, sweetened condensed milk, butter and salt. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut, nuts and vanilla. Spread over dough in pan.
Crumble reserved dough over filling; pressing lightly into filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. until light golden brown. Cool; cut in bars.
