Recipe(tried): Gingersnap Baked Beans

Side Dishes - Beans
Found this recipe in a Woman's World magazine in the 1980's. This baked bean dish has become one of our favorites for cookouts. This is the only bean dish, our granddaugher will eat. She is 12 years old and turning 13 this summer. The graduates will like these beans!

Gingersnap Baked Beans

3/4 cup gingersnaps, crushed
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 cup brown sugar or syrup
2 to 4 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2 (16 oz. each) cans pork and beans
1/4 cup catsup

Mix all ingredients together. Pur in a greased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6-8.

Mix, bake and ejoy!
