GOURMET HERBED BUTTER
Serve this trendy butter with your favorite breads or use it to top pasta, chicken, meats and veggies!
1 cup LAND O LAKES Butter, softened
2 tablespoons dry white wine or sherry
1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley*
3/4 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves**
Beat butter in small mixer bowl at medium speed until creamy (1 to 2 minutes). Reduce speed to low; add all remaining ingredients. Continue beating until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes).
Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour to enhance flavors. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
*Substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley.
**Substitute 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves.
Yield: 1 cup
