HONEY MUSTARD GLAZE
Use a fresh orange for optimum flavor in the glaze.
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium (1/2 cup) onion, chopped
1 cup honey
1 (8-ounce) jar country-style Dijon mustard
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan until sizzling; add onion. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender (6 to 8 minutes).
Stir in all remaining glaze ingredients. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil (6 to 8 minutes).
Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook until sauce thickens slightly and flavors blend (8 to 10 minutes). Remove from heat; set aside.
Glaze can be used on ribs, chicken, or beef.
