GRANNY'S QUICK TOMATO SAUCE
2 cups ripe tomato chunks (peeled)
2 Tbsp. dried onions
4 whole cloves
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
Cook tomatoes, onion and seasonings together for about 15 minutes. Put through a sieve.
In a saucepan melt butter and blend in flour. Pour tomato mixture into butter/flour mixture and cook until thick. Stir constantly.
