Recipe(tried): Hash Browns and Sour Cream (freezes well)

Side Dishes - Potatoes
this is a great dish for a large crowd. it also freezes well.

hash browns and sour cream

2 lbs. frozen has browns, thawed
2 cups grated cheese (your choice)
1 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
(or 1 can ready to serve mushroom soup)
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 large container sour cream
2 cups corn flakes, crushed
1/2 cup melted butter

grease 12 x 15 inch dish. ( i use a 9 x 13 dish and a smaller dish for the leftover.) mix potatoes with all other ingredients except corn flakes and butter. spread in dishes. sprinkle with corn flakes and butter. bake 1 hour at 300of or until bubbling and browned.

my familly love this with baked ham or cold meat.
