Recipe: Honey Barbecued Chicken

Honey Barbecued Chicken

Honey Barbecue Sauce (recipe follows)
3 to 3 1/2 pound cut-up broiler-fryer chicken

Heat coals or gas grill. Make Honey Barbecue Sauce.

Cover and grill chicken, skin sides up, 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 15 minutes. Turn chicken; brush with sauce.

Cover and grill 20 to 40 minutes longer, turning occasionally and brushing 2 or 3 times with sauce, until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.

Heat remaining sauce to boiling; boil 1 minute. Serve sauce with chicken.

Honey Barbecue Sauce
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/3 cup honey
1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Serve-With: Add corn on the cob, potato salad and baked beans for a perfect summer meal.

Variation: This easy barbecue sauce is sure to become one of your favorites. It is also delicious on grilled pork chops and ribs.
