Jalapeno Jelly Baste for Roast Chicken

I like to baste roast chicken with hot honey mustard, a little liquid smoke, and a tablespoon of Jalapeno Jelly all mixed together for the last couple of bastings. This gives it a crisp skin with a sweet and hot quality. If you want it a little spicier add a couple drops of Habenero.
