Recipe: Japanese egg yolk sauce

Misc.
I found this post at another website. The poster claims that this comes pretty close to what they serve in the U.S. pseudo-Japanese restaurants:

Shrimp Sauce Recipe:

1 quart mayonnaise
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 stick melted butter
3 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
3/4 cup rice vinegar (most common, KAME)

Mix together and chill for 24 hours before serving
