Recipe(tried): Linguine with Shrimp

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
Now the shrimp can be peeled or not (peeled for eating simplicity)
If you peel the shrimp remember to devain the shrimp

Anyways, Boil shrimp with pasta (I perfer linguini) 6 large shrimp
per 8 oz.of pasta

Cook for 6-8 minutes until pasta is tender but not mushy and shrimp is pink
and tender (this is al dente). Drain and refresh under cold water to stop cooking process

While pasta is draining heat 1/4 stick (4 tablespoons) butter with 3 cloves
chopped garlic per serving cook over low heat until butter is just melted

Toss pasta and shrimp with melted butter and toss in enough parmesan cheese
to please (for more flavor I toss in chopped basil leaves (fresh) a small
handful per serving along with parmesan cheese)

Serve very warm. A nice salad with fresh tomatos and cucumber and warm bread
goes good with the meal.

I wish your mom a Happy Birthday and your family the best!

Enjoy!
