Love this recipe! I normally bake slow rise artisan breads, but they take forever and require that you plan ahead (start biga/poolish one day, let rise once, put in 'fridge overnight, take out next day, warm up, make dough). This bread is so quick and easy and is really just as good, or better, than some of the artisan breads! While I enjoy the process of making artisan bread, this bread is a very respectible stand in when I'm short on time. Even my husband (the bread snob) approves!!!
