Recipe: Mandarin Chicken Salad (using macaroni rings and Cool Whip)

Salads - Main Dish
MANDARIN CHICKEN SALAD

1 (1 lb) pkg. macaroni rings, cooked and drained
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 cup salad dressing (like Miracle Whip)
1 cup green grapes*
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup mandarin orange sections
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1 cup Cool Whip, thawed (for serving)

Combine all ingredients except Cool Whip. Refrigerate.

Just before serving, fold in Cool Whip.

*If serving to children, slice grapes in half.

Makes about 12 servings
