Recipe(tried): Marinade for Roast Beef

Menus
Marinate for Beef

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. minced onion

Mix all ingredients together; pour over meat and marinate in refrigerator overnight. Turn meat over occasionally to marinate both sides. The longer it sits in the marinate the better it is.

When ready to cook, remove meat from marinate and place in a pan with maybe 1/4 cup of water and bake covered in a slow 325 oven. I lived in the Artic and I always cooked caribou and venison this way. I cook all my beef roasts like this and you can also marinate steaks and then BBQ. Very good.
