Recipe: Mueller's Skillet Sausage and Peppers

MUELLER'S SKILLET SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS

2 tablespoon corn oil
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, cut into 1/4-inch wedges
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
8 ounce Mueller's medium egg noodles (about 5 cups drained)

Prepare egg noodles according to package directions.

In large skillet, heat corn oil over medium-high heat. Add peppers, onion, and garlic; saute 5-6 minutes. Remove.

Add sausage to skillet; saute 10 minutes or until browned.

Return peppers, garlic and onion to skillet. Add tomatoes and oregano; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook 12-14 minutes.

Toss with drained egg noodles.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
