Recipe(tried): Old Fashion Corn Pudding

Side Dishes - Vegetables
I do not know if this is the kind of corn pudding recipe you're looking for, but it is an old family recipe that my family and friends really enjoy. We prefer to let it "rest" a little while before eating rather than eat it immediately after baking. Hope it helps.

Old Fashion Corn Pudding

1 can of cream style sweet corn (about 15 ounces)
1/2 stick of butter or margarine, melted
4 large eggs, beaten
1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. flour mixed together
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix all ingredients together well. Pour into a lightly greased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. or until golden on top. This dish seems to taste better if it rests a little after baking. Enjoy!
