OOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE
Mix together the following and spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Batter will be thick.
1 box yellow cake mix (use dry)
2 eggs
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, softened
Mix the following and spread on top of cake batter mixture:
1 (8 oz) package soft cream cheese
2 eggs
1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes.
THREE DAY COCONUT CAKE
1 box yellow cake mix, butter kind
Mix cake mix according to directions and bake in either 2 or 3 layers.
ICING:
2 cups sugar
1 (12 oz) package frozen coconut
1 (16 oz) carton sour cream
1 1/2 cups Cool Whip
Mix sugar, sour cream and coconut. Let set 30 minutes or more. Stir to
dissolve sugar.
Split cake layers in half if cake was baked in 2 layers using thick thread or dental floss (unflavored). Spread layers with icing mixture saving 1 cup of icing.
Mix together 1 cup icing and Cool Whip. Frost Cake with this mixture. Cover with airtight cake holder and refridgerate for at least 2 days; preferably 3 days. No one will ever know this is a cake mix!!!
