Pan Fried Yellow Squash with Onions

6 to 8 yellow squash
1 large onion
Bacon drippings or Butter
Salt and Pepper

Wash and clean squash with vegetable brush.
Slice into large pieces..Put in large skillet with bacon drippings or butter...slice onion and put on top of squash. Cover and cook slow until squash and onions are tender..add your salt and pepper to taste. While these are cooking, you might put you on a pan of Cornbread..goes really good with squash. Since I am from the South..we love our bread.
