Boneless beef roast, 2 to 3 pounds
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 can (12 ounces) beer
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 cups prepared picante sauce or prepared salsa

Brown the roast in the oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the beer, brown sugar, and picante sauce. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 2 hours.

Serve warm with your favorite side dish.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
