Pork Chops & Rice
Serves 6
6 pork chops
6 green pepper slices
6 onion slices
2 c.(uncooked) long grain rice
1 can tomato soup or 1 & 1/2 c.tomato juice
Season pork chops with salt & pepper to taste. Roll in flour. Brown in hot vegetable oil, on both sides.
Lightly butter a deep casserole dish & layer:
1.Rice
2.Pork chops
3.1 onion slice
4.1 green pepper slice
5.Cover with tomato soup or juice.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
