Recipe: Potatoes Au Gratin (using cream of onion and cream of mushroom soups)

Side Dishes - Potatoes
Potatoes Au Gratin (using cream of onion and cream of mushroom soups)

7 to 10 lb. potatoes
1 can cream of onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. cheese, cubed
2/3 cup milk
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper

Cook and peel potatoes (undercook the potatoes). Slice potatoes into a casserole.

Mix and heat the soups, salt, pepper, butter, milk, and cheese slowly until the cheese is melted. Pour this mixture over the sliced potatoes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly all through.

This can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated.
