4 eggs, well beaten
1 pound canned pumpkin (not pie filling)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter melted
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Mix eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves together; pour into a 13x9-inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top; drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, then spread chopped nuts over all.

Bake at 325F for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cover with foil if top begins to brown too much.
