Quick Apple Crisp (using pie filling and pie crust mix)
Makes 6 servings
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/2 (11 oz.) package pie crust mix
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon gound cinnamon
vanilla ice cream or whipped topping (optional)
Spoon pie filling into a greased 8 inch round cake pan.
Combine pie crust mix, sugar nutmeg and cinnamon in medium bowl; stir well. Sprinkle pie crust mixture evenly over pie filling.
Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
If desired, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
