Recipe(tried): Sausage gravy

Daddy would fry the sausage, pour off most of the grease(he left it, mom would
pour off some of it) and then add water. He would bring it to a boil, scrape the bottom of the skillet and put this over his biscuits. This is more of a red-eye gravy.
