SELF-CRUST TURKEY OR CHICKEN PIE
2 cups chopped, cooked turkey or chicken
2 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced
1 1/4 cups turkey or chicken broth
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Place turkey or chicken in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer egg slices on this.
Blend broth and soup in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour broth and soup mixture over meat and egg slices.
Mix margarine, flour, milk and pepper and pour over ingredients in baking dish. This mixture will not be smooth.
Bake at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes or until crust is browned.
