SIMPLICITY CARAMEL ROLLS
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 loaves (1 lb each) frozen bread dough, thawed
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Mix brown sugar and heavy cream. Pour mixture into two (9-inch) round baking pans. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of nuts over sugar mixture. Set aside.
Roll dough into a (10x18-inch) rectangle. Spread with butter, white sugar and cinnamon. Roll in jelly roll fashion. Cut 1-inch slices and place on sugar mixture in pans. Cover and let rise until double in size.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.
