Recipe(tried): Spaghetti Pie

SPAGHETTI PIE

6 oz. thin spaghetti, cooked and drained
2 T. butter
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 tsp. oregano
2 cups whole tomatoes
1 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese

Mix the butter, Parmesan cheese, and eggs well. Spread into a 9 X 13" baking dish to form a crust.
Saute hamburger, onion, and green pepper together until hamburger meat is done. Add the salt, sugar, garlic salt, oregano, and tomatoes to hamburger mixture and mix well.
Spread the cottage cheese over the unbaked spaghetti crust. Spread hamburger mixture over crust. Sprinkle cheese on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
