Recipe: Strawberry and Blackerry Cream Cocktail Dessert (using ricotta, cassis, and mascarpone or sour cream)

1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
1/2 cup mascarpone or sour cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup cassis
1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup blackberries
With an electric mixer, beat together ricotta, mascarpone or sour cream, and confectioners' sugar until smooth and light.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of cassis into the bottom of four dessert dishes or wine glasses. Top each with a portion of sweetened cheese. Cover with plastic and chill until serving time.
Before serving, mix together the sliced strawberries and blackberries. Spoon over the cheese in each dish and serve.
