Recipe(tried): Sweet and Sour Chicken (using apricot preserves, crock pot)
Main Dishes - Chicken, PoultrySWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN
2 pounds chicken pieces
1 (18 ounce) jar Apricot Preserves
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
3/4 bottle Russian dressing
1 packet dry onion soup mix
Mix last four ingredients together and add to slow cooker, add chicken pieces and toss to coat.
Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or until done.
Personal notes:
I used about 3 1/2 pounds bone in thighs and used two packets of the onion soup mix.
