TACO LUNCH
Cook and stir in medium skillet over medium heat until brown:
1 lb. ground beef
Stir in:
2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. instant minced onion
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/ tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
Simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
While sauce simmers, heat as directed on package:
10 taco shells
Shred (cut into long thin pieces):
Enough lettuce to fill (about 1 1/2 c.)
Enough natural Cheddar cheese to fill (about 2/3 c.)
Chop: Enough tomato to fill (about 2/3 c.)
Fill taco shells with meat mixture.
Top each with:
1 handful shredded lettuce
1 tbsp. shredded natural Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. chopped tomato
Serve with bottled hot sauce.
