Recipe(tried): Taco Salad Dressing and Ranch Dressing

Hi Mandy,

How is the winter in Canada? I'm right near the border here in Buffalo, awaiting the Maple Syrup Festival near Kitchener, Ontario. I have not had ranch dressing on taco salad, but here is the recipe I use when I do make taco salad.

1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian dressing
1 (16 ounce) bottle Pfeiffer's Thousand Island
1 (16 ounce) bottle taco sauce (like ortega, not salsa though the smooth stuff)

I mix all of this together and pour it over the salad and mix it up.

Ranch Dressing

Makes 1 1/2 cup

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
