Recipe: Thai Iced Coffee - 2 recipes

THAI ICED COFFEE
Makes 3 servings

7 tablespoons ground coffee, preferably French roast (approx. 4 tbsp. whole beans before grinding)
2 1/4 cups boiling water
3/4 cup nonfat dry milk (original recipe uses 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk)
4 tablespoons sugar (or 6 packets sugar substitute)
3/4 cup 1% lowfat milk
ice cubes

Pour boiling water over ground coffee and through a paper filter into a pitcher. Add nonfat dry milk powder and sweetener and mix until dissolved. Add the 1% milk and pour over ice into 2 tall glasses. Enjoy!

6 ice cubes
3/4 cup freshly brewed strong coffee
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Blend ice at high speed until shaved. Transfer to tall glass.

Combine coffee and condensed milk in blender and blend at high speed until smooth and frothy. Pour over ice and serve with spoon.
