Recipe(tried): Thunder Cake - I made the thunder cake

Hi,
My six year old grandson read this book in school and asked me to bake the thunder cake for him. I did and it was delicious. The cake is light and fluffy and moist. I iced it with chocolate icing. All the grandchildren loved it. I don't know why the tomatoes are in the cake...you cannot see or taste them...but they certainly do not have an ill effect. Try it. If your family likes chocolate cake this will be a favorite. Peace and bright blessings, Karey
