Hi Crissy,
Reynolds has Turkey Size Oven bags that will hold meat and poultry up to 24 lbs.
The best thing about using oven bags is that everything is jucier and it cooks in less time and NO BASTING and NO CLEANUP! My Grandmother bags everything from roasts to poultry and everything always comes out super moist! She told me that she even does her stuffing in a separate bag in a casserole dish and it comes out extra moist too (for those who don't like to stuff your turkey).
Here's what the chart says: In a 350 oven
For a whole unstuffed turkey: meat thermometer remaining at 180
12-16 lbs. 2-2 1/2 hrs.
16-20 lbs. 2 1/2-3 hrs.
20-24 lbs. 3- 3 1/2 hrs.
In a Whole turkey stuffed:
12-16 lbs. 2 1/2-3 hrs.
16-20 lbs. 3- 3 1/2 hrs.
20-24 lbs. 3 1/2- 4 hrs.
No more waiting umpteen hours for your turkey to be done (so you can sleep in a little extra that morning!!)and no need to constantly run to the oven to baste either, more time to spend doing other things instead!
I hope this helps!
Happy Turkey Day Everyone!
