Toasty Oat Crust
1 cup Quick Quaker Oats , uncooked
1/3 cup finely chopped nuts
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray sides and bottom of 9-inch pie pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Press into prepared pie pan.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool; chill or freeze as filling requires.
Fill with packaged pie filling mixtures, chilled cheesecake fillings, frozen yogurt or ice cream, as desired.
Notes and cook tips:
Substitute 1/3 cup Quick Quaker Oats, uncooked, wheat germ or unprocessed bran for the nuts.
