Recipe: Twin Meat Loaves

TWIN MEAT LOAVES

1 medium onion, minced
1 small green bell pepper, minced
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 lbs. ground beef
3/4 cup catsup, divided use
2 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs (5 slices white brea)
1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp. horseradish
1 tbsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
3 eggs

Cook onion and green pepper in oil until tender. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl combine ground beef with the onion mixture, 1/2 cup of the catsup, and remaining ingredients; mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Shape meat into 2 loaves; place in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Brush tops with remaining 1/4 cup catsup.

Bake 1 hour or until done.
