That recipe sounds very good. I've had a variation of that I've used for years. Just a bit different.
1 bottle of Catalina French Dressing
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can whole cranberry sauce

Just combine these ingredients as you did for your recipe and cook it the same way. It's really good with rice pilaf, a green salad and fresh bread.
