ISO: Barbecue Sauce using butter sugar and catsup

I had a great barbeque recipe from a friend's old cookbook. It could be used on ribs or chicken. It was rich and wonderful. The ingredients I remember were:
Real Butter
White Sugar
Catsup
Worcheshire ?
?
Boiled then brushed on after ribs and/or chicken have been on the grill for awhile.
Most recipes I am finding have brown sugar in lieu of white. Does anyone have this recipe?
