ISO: Ciupeta or Coppia bread

Ciupeta or Coppia is a bread seemingly exclusive to bakers from Ferrara, Italy.I would like to find a recipe that can be made at home.I used to enjoy this bread as a young man in Springfield, Massachusetts. Great with pasta for sopping up sauce. Thanks for any help.
