ISO: Marinating the eye of round

Terrie, have you ever marinated meats that have been frozen? I have a freezer and keep quite a bit of meat in it for convenience. I have noticed that it is best not to let meat that has been frozen set around thawed because it seems to lose juices and I think, quality.

However, I have a lovely eye of round in the freezer and wondered if it would work to marinate it overnight in the marinade you posted. Have you ever done that or should I start with a fresh never frozen (well, at least not by me!) piece of meat. I have wondered if I partially thawed then put in the marinade, if that would work.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated, even if it is to tell me no, don't do it.
