Misc.
Dear Sharon, N. C.,

I have tried your Giant Blueberry Muffins. (I think that was 2 weeks ago!) As it’s very difficult to get any blueberries here in Malaysia (all imported), I have replaced them with halved canned dark cherries in heavy syrup. (The canned blueberries are too small and watery. I tried to use them in many other cakes/muffin recipes and found I didn’t like them at all. The canned dark cherries are quite forgiving in most recipes I use, however.) Anyway, I baked these muffins in a regular size muffin tin and they were great. I would very much like to bake more but I ran out of canned cherries for the time being… Anyway, you did mention that you have several other recipes to share in that post. I wonder if I have the honor to try them out? Thanks in advance.

Yours truly,
Eggy/m’sia
