The caramel apples were a big hit with the cross country team. Some of the girls said they hadn't had them in 2-3 years as they don't have them in Singapore. We've been living here for over 4 years and haven't had any in that long. By the time the girls ate them the bubbles were gone. I don't know why they took longer to cook but when I tried to cook the caramel for the second batch faster, I did get the dark specks. I am sure these will be a big hit at the school food fest and the girls will sell out of them early. Thanks for your help!
